Freshman Advice

Golf Team 2012-2013 Friends Goofing Around Letter

While Freshman year may sound a little scary, it really isn’t. Well, it shouldn’t be. Freshman year opens up so many doors and opportunities for you to discover who you are as a person; this is what high school is supposed to be about. There’s so much to learn, and there’s always a little fun added here and there. It’s alright to feel lost; the upper classmen and teachers will help you. Trust me, it will get easier. The best way to make this journey fun and exciting is to find any clubs, sports, activities, and classes that interest you.  That way, it will be easier to make friends and to get involved with the school. After all, we want you to succeed in your interests. The best way to having a successful high school career is to find what works for you. This includes everything from time management to taking notes in class to being and staying organized. Furthermore, the biggest thing of all is to not sweat the small stuff,  and make each moment count  because you’re only a high school student once.
